What is a Programing Musician?
Programming is a form of music production and performance using electronic devices and computer software, such as sequencers and workstations or hardware synthesizers, to generate sounds of musical instruments.
Also if you are not a musician, but you wrote the melody and lyrics of a song, before the creation of an accompaniment track you are going to need an Arranger.
A music arranger is a professional who works closely with the writer of a song and other musicians to create, alter, and produce musical pieces. They can alter the tone and mood of a song by changing the tempo, instruments, and adding harmonies.
Think of the arranger as an architect: An architect is a person who plans, designs, and oversees the construction of buildings.
The arranger lays down the chords for your melody, altering them so they complement a new use or scenario and rearranging them so different instruments or bands can play them well in a dedicated recording studio or home studio facility.
The need of an accompaniment track of a public domain song that already have the musical arrangement on a sheet music, can use a programming musician that will lay out the instrument parts using a computer with a digital audio workstation (DAW). Programming musicians are a whole band’s man if I can put in simple terms. They will record the piano sound, bass, drums, pads, acoustic/electric guitar etc., they may charge either by the hour, or by the number of instruments, or per song, with the finished product on a CD or memory stick as an MP3, or other format, of your preferences.
This is what we do. We are a programing musician, an arranger, songwriter, and a producer.
In conclusion, if you wrote a song and in need of an accompaniment track with one or several instrument and you identify with our music style, then let us work together. Send us an e-mail with your questions and we will try our best to answer them for you.
